Chuck Norris says, "God Bless Atheists"

Just found this post tonight:

Thanks, but no thanks Chuck. You might be able to bench-press the world, but I'll have to (fearfully) disagree with you on this one.

If we're going to allow prayer to your particular god at the beginning of these meetings in Colorado, which I assume are located in buildings funded by tax payers, then we need to allow for prayer to all gods worshiped by people these days, including Allah, Buddah, Satan, SantaGod and The Flying Spaghetti monster. I'm sure you'll agree excluding these other gods would be discriminatory.

"I pray that God would give them a constitutional courage to stand up for their rights and not be bullied to pacify anyone who would usurp them."

I pray that the people in public office in Colorado leave their personal beliefs at home and go to work for the good of all people whom they represent, including those with differing beliefs or no beliefs whatsoever. Starting work with a public prayer in a public place to particular religion's god is discrimantory and offensive to everyone who shares a differing worldview.

Chuck, more katas, less jesus juice!
